The Frick

Recently, I was so excited to see the exquisite enamel work of Susanne de Court at The Frick. She was active around 1600 and is thought to have been the only woman to lead a workshop in Limoges, France. Her pieces are incredibly detailed and colorful. It’s always a joy to see historic female artists recognized.
